It's getting that time again ladies & gents. Time to dress up the Turkey, ladies shop till you drop on Black Friday, fellas you know you're not going to miss the BIG GAME. It's 2022, we just came out of a world wide pandemic. Not totally outta the woods yet on that. Now, pushing forward to a new time in the world a new era. Not sure what kind of era we are supposed to be in. It seems like it's an era of humans fucking shit up era. Just my opinion. However, I am an 80's kid so I'm pretty sure that we will survive. With that being said, how do you show that you are thankful? Shouldn't we do this year round, and not just one day a year?
I am just as guilty as the next person on the whole grateful thing, and not just one day a year. I try to show my gratitude year round. I am not going to lie it is a hard thing to do. Especially if it feels like the world is against ya. We all have bills coming in, the constant pressure to keep up with the "Jones", not to mention kids.
In order to be grateful we have to have been humbled in some way or another. " (GreenWitch)
I have found that when you have nothing you have a lot more to be thankful for. I mean you truly become grateful for the things that really matter. Like not a car, clothes, etc. I am talking about the good stuff like your health, family, your beliefs. Down below are a few things that I am grateful for. I'd love to hear your grateful list. Send me a message on whatever platform you use.

My kids and my man

Being open minded

My health

My kids, have a lot to do with why I am even still here. My oldest saved me when he was born. Making me more responsible and having to stay grounded. My second child keeps me going, pushing through. I have a daughter who watches every move that I make. I have to show her how to be a lady, tough, and independent. Last but not least Papi. That's my person. He has shown me what true love is. Actually made me believe in love again.

Being open minded is a huge thing for me. When I was younger, I thought I was always right and if it wasn't done my way then it was wrong. I then learned that there are a thousand and fifty ways to get to where you are going and as long as you get there. It doesn't matter how you got there.

My health, something that we all take for granted. My mom was my age when she had her first pacemaker put in. I am not going to lie. I am no angel, lol. I have done a lot of stupid shit that should have killed me or I should have some serious damage to some vital organs. However, here I am. Pretty much healthy as a horse.
Lets take time to be thankful and grateful more than just once a year, while we feed our faces. Again, I would love to hear from you.
May you stay blessed, loved, and protected.
